Competitive Start Times Change For 2010

The early hunting seasons are over in the west and fall is upon us, but it is never to early to be working on the 2010 Sunrise 3D Shoot.

Most of our regular shooters know that we have been shooting the same competitive format for years now. And change does not come easily to us, shooters just know what to expect. And we are proud of that. But after meeting with Bill London and listening to some fantastic input from the shooters we are going to make some big changes in the shoot start time for 2010.

We have always started Saturday's shoot at 12 noon and Sunday's shoot at 9 a.m. since this was the standard for all of the major shoots [ASA, IBO] around the country. But starting in 2010 we will start Saturdays shoot at 9 a.m. and Sundays shoot at 8 a.m.

This will allow families the chance to better manage their time together, our employees the chance to manage their Sunday time in hopes of getting the awards ceremony started earlier getting everyone on the road home at a reasonable time.

The group this will effect the most is locals and Phoenix shooters that drive in early Saturday morning. So spread the word, there will be no competitive shooting competition registration on Saturday. We encourage pre registration [don't forget, put's you in a drawing for a cow/spike tag] but we will accept registrations all day Friday. We apologize for the inconvenience.

If you have any input please feel free to leave a comment, now is the time!
